Cubs at the waterhole

Early morning at Goas waterhole in Etosha National Park, we were lucky enough to have an audience with four young lion cubs playing at the water’s edge

Their mothers stayed nearby to keep watch over proceedings to make sure things weren’t getting out of hand

The trees and shrubs made an excellent playground for the little ones

Further back from the waterfront, the male lion was having none of it
